GroupRadar Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the GroupRadar mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

GroupRadar is a mobile application that enables users to:

• Create and join private groups
• Share real-time location with group members
• Send encrypted messages within groups
• Invite others to join groups via various methods

3. Account Registration

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use GroupRadar. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.3 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.

4. User Conduct

4.1 Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Stalk, harass, or harm other users
• Share your location with groups without consent of all members
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
• Use automated systems or bots to access the App
• Transmit malware or harmful code
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

4.2 Group Conduct

As a group creator or admin, you are responsible for:

• Ensuring all members consent to location sharing
• Managing group membership appropriately
• Not misusing admin privileges

5. Location Sharing

5.1 Consent

By enabling location sharing, you consent to sharing your location with members of your groups.

5.2 Control

You can:

• Enable or disable location sharing at any time
• Choose the level of location precision
• Leave groups to stop sharing with specific people

5.3 Accuracy

Location data may not always be accurate due to:

• GPS signal limitations
• WiFi positioning variations
• Environmental factors

We do not guarantee the accuracy of location data.

6. Privacy and Encryption

6.1 End-to-End Encryption

All location data and messages are encrypted end-to-end. We cannot access the content of your encrypted data.

6.2 Privacy Policy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Rights

GroupRadar and all its contents, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7.3 Restrictions

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Use our trademarks without permission
• Create derivative works based on the App

8. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with third-party services (e.g., map providers, push notification services). Your use of such services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

9. Disclaimers

9.1 "As Is" Basis

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

9.2 No Warranty

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Location data will be accurate
• The App will meet your requirements
• Any defects will be corrected

9.3 Safety

GroupRadar is not a safety or emergency service. Do not rely on it for life-critical applications.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or goodwill
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your data
• Damages exceeding the amount you paid us (if any) in the past 12 months

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another

12. Termination

12.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

12.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse the App or other users

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your license to use the App ends immediately
• Your account data will be deleted
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting notice in the App
• Sending a push notification

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of Argentina, except where mandatory consumer-protection law grants you the right to a different forum.

14.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class actions.

15. General Provisions

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us.

15.2 Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

15.3 Waiver

Failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.

15.4 Assignment

You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights freely.
